WCF Announcements (9.7.16)

We are looking forward to Pastor Jacob coming this weekend. As we ready ourselves for his coming, I wanted to let you all know a bit more about Jacob and how you could specifically be a help to him. Jacob is the pastor of not one but three churches! Over the course of time, his support has dwindled. He does not need much, when we consider the kind of monetary needs we often have in the states, yet he is currently underfunded.

Our church gives a certain percentages of our tithes/offerings to help support Jacob, yet there are others who specifically give to Jacob. If you would like to personally support Jacob after getting a chance to meet him, you may do so by determining what you would like to give per month (one time donations are great, as well). Should you want to give $5, $10, or $100+ a month, all you need to do is send a check made out to the Philippian Fellowship designated to Jacob Logos. The envelope then sent to 14 Hunt Rd, Windsor, ME 04363. The money will then be sent to Jacob within a week.

Our young brother Justus Fitzgerald has come forward to be baptized! We will have his baptism on September 18. More details soon.

Ladies Bible Study will resume on September 15. If you would like to be a part of this study on the book of John, the sign up is on the back table for book orders.

Beginning in October (just a month away), we will begin a Midweek Bible Study. More details to come soon.

The vinyl siding is being delivered to the church this week for our sanctuary remodel! The Lord is steadily providing for our needs, and we are convinced that he will see the building finished in His timing. We had approximately $2,000 in the "Sanctuary Fund," yet we needed closer to $3,000 to get all the supplies to side the building. A check came in this week for $1,000, which will cover the rest of what we need. We tell you this to encourage you that God is providing!

All men who are able to devote some time on the last Saturday of this month are invited to help with this project. A couple of our men with siding experience will help to lead and guide to ensure that things are done well. In case you were wondering, lunch will be provided!
